Workshops & Conferences
EAPTI-GPTIM regularly hosts workshops and seminars featuring distinguished lecturers from diverse fields and various parts of the world. These events serve as an integral component of our students' training programs. Additionally, upon request, professionals in related human sciences disciplines, such as psychotherapy, psychology, psychiatry, social work, and youth work, may also participate. Upon completion, attendees can receive a certificate of participation detailing the accumulated CPD hours.
For your reference, here's the breakdown of mandatory activity hours for students within the 4.5-year training program:
(These hours are part of the official curriculum and must be completed in order to graduate.)
-
Theory and Methodology of Gestalt Psychotherapy – 360 hours
These hours are completed through workshops, seminars, and conferences during the first three years of training.
The school typically offers around 120 hours per academic year, taught by guest lecturers or core faculty.
Students are encouraged to attend all workshops and events listed on the school website, as they directly contribute to fulfilling this requirement.
The yearly program is published by the end of August.
If students are unable to attend some of the offered events during the first three years due to valid reasons, they may still make up the missed hours in the third, fourth, or fifth year.
-
Different Approaches to Psychotherapy – 96 hours
These hours are distributed across the entire duration of the course.
At least one workshop in this category is offered each semester, and students are expected to begin attending from the first year onward.
-
Research in Psychotherapy – 50 hours
This module consists of four workshops, and the school offers one workshop per semester every academic year.
It is primarily intended for third- and fourth-year students, but students from earlier years are also welcome to participate.
Any hours completed before the third year will be counted toward the required 50 hours for this module.
-
Theory of Supervision in Psychotherapy – 60 hours
This module is also completed through four workshops, one per semester.
Workshops are designed for third- and fourth-year students.
-
Supervision of Practical Work with Clients – 60 hours
This module includes four supervision workshops, one per semester.
It is exclusively intended for students in their third, fourth, and fifth year, as it requires active client work under supervision.
Please note that times and dates are subject to change. Refer to the list below for event details.
Registered students of EAPTI GPTIM do not need to register individually for these events, as they are automatically enrolled as regular students.
To acquire essential training hours in specific knowledge and skills areas, students can pay the registration fee and attend the respective workshop or conference.
Payments for the workshops and seminars listed below should be made to the school's bank account one week before the commencement of the chosen event. A 10% surcharge will be applied for payments made after the workshop has ended. Please ensure that the payment reference includes your full name and the title of the workshop or seminar you are attending.
The school will issue payment confirmation certificates, which students are required to retain until the conclusion of their training.
