Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
Currently, no official body in Malta regulates a psychotherapist’s commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD), even though regulating this is in the pipeline. In view of this, EAPTI-GPTIM recommends following the standards established by the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) of which our higher education institution is a member. Psychotherapists who are EAGT and/or EAP certified practitioners and members, are obliged to maintain CPD accordingly for renewal of certification.
