Post-Graduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
General information and rationale:
The post-graduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy programme, is accredited by the MFHEA, MQF Level 7, part-time programme carried out over a timeframe of 2 scholastic years. Working with children and adolescents requires specialised knowledge, skills and competencies, and requires an understanding of the unique context of child and adolescent treatment. Several therapists are currently working with these populations while only having general psychotherapy training with minimal or and/or non-accredited specialised training for work with children and adolescents. Assessment:
EAGTI-GPTIM finds it very important that every student has the possibility to show/present his/her knowledge and what was learnt experientially. In order for this to reflect the different styles and strengths of students together with areas for further growth, a variety of methods are used including assignments, presentation and answering questions inspired by the student’s written assignment and presentation.
